Ubisoft’s upcoming third-person shooter Tom Clancy’s The Division is set to miss a release window this holiday season, instead launching sometime between January and March of next year.
Revealed via the company’s financial earnings slides, the much-anticipated title will release in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year, meaning a launch is due within the first three months of 2016.
Originally announced via a mind-blowing trailer back at Ubisoft’s 2013 E3 conference, The Division has been beset with delays since its initial unveiling, going through numerous developmental shifts, which is hoped will culminate in a game worthy of the hype it’s generated.
In other Ubisoft-related news, the company today announced the next iteration in its seminal Assassin’s Creed series, entitled: Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.
