Naughty Dog has officially confirmed that it is working on the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection for PlayStation 4, following the bundle’s leak earlier today.
The collection remasters Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception in stunning 1080p and 60fps, as well as a host of other features including a Photo Mode.
Oddly enough, the collection will not include the multiplayer portions of Uncharted 2 and Uncharted 3, or the PlayStation Vita title, Uncharted: Golden Abyss.
Unlike the original PS3 versions, the remasters are being handled by Bluepoint Games, who previously worked on Titanfall for Xbox 360 and the HD remasters of ICO & Shadow of the Colossus, God of War 1 & 2, and Metal Gear Solid 2, 3, & Peace Walker.
Perhaps most intersting is the fact the Nathan Drake Collection includes access to the Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End multiplayer beta. Furthermore, pre-orders for the bundle will net you the Nathan Drake Pack, which includes some of Drake’s most recognised single-player outfits, plus the Golden AK-47 and Beretta 92FS.
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is scheduled to ship in the U.S. on October 7 and in the U.K. on October 9. Expect more details to drop at E3.
