The latest Media Create data (via DualShockers) has confirmed that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has ranked 5th in launch week sales for the venerable stealth-action franchise.
Combined sales of the game on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 reached 411,199, with 293,652 sold on PS4 and 117,547 sold on PS3.
By comparison, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater tops the list with 548,186 copies sold in its first week, followed by Metal Gear Soild 4: Guns of the Patriots (464,926), Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (456,747) and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker at 434,926.
The Phantom Pain did manage to beat out Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, however.
