- Naughty Dog has added heaps of fan service to the multiplayer as this is the final Uncharted game, which gave birth to the mystical elements.
- The sidekicks are a result of the studio being able to do more things with the AI that weren’t possible on PS3.
- The Cintamani Stone seen in the Paris Games Week reveal trailer is now a ranged, grenade-like power, featuring a large area of effect
- The Wrath of Eldorado mystical inflicts huge damage but is not a one-hit kill
- Another mystical ability is the Staff of Ayar Manco, which is placed on the ground and pulses, revealing the location of the enemy team on your radar. It can be destroyed by the opposing team for cash.
- You appear on the radar when you shoot your gun briefly
- Sidekicks are able to generate cash for the player, and you can equip up to three. However, only one can spawn at any one time; if you spawn a new one, the current one will die.
- Relics can be earned to purchase items using the in-game store
- Uncharted Points are used to obtain specific items
- The gear you can acquire includes grenades, revive packs, mines, and C4. These can be purchased using cash gathered from playing the game, and you can also change how much you carry and how it functions.
- Players can obtain treasure as a match progresses, which rewards 200 in cash and some ammo. There’s also a chance you might get a relic.
- Defeated players also have a chance of dropping a relic
- Booster abilities are now available and can be upgraded
- Players will not spawn at random, and take into account several elements
- The beta will be updated periodically while active
- Sadly, no progress will be carried over from the beta to the final game
- Eight multiplayer maps will be available from day-one, with the beta featuring two
- The beta will feature only one mode, though Naughty Dog has promised there is "so much more to show off" in the final game.
- The beta weighs in at 7GB with no pre-load option available
- Expect more Twitch streams by Naughty Dog during the course of the beta
