Dying Light Enhanced Edition release date confirmed, have yourself a zombie-filled February

Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition will be released in the U.S. on February 9 and in Europe on February 12, developer Techland has announced.

The news follows confirmation earlier this month that the game had recently hit gold status, accompanied by a new trailer.

In addition, the studio confirm that the original version of Dying Light, released early last year, will be slowly phased out, making it hard to get hold of for those who want to complete their collection. So, if you fancy picking up the vanilla edition of the zombie actioner, you had better get your skates on if you want to grab a copy.

For those out of the loop, the Enhanced Edition of Dying Light features improved visuals, spruced-up AI, and Bounties among other such additions. In addition, those of you who purchased the Dying Light upon its release last year can grab the Enhanced Edition for free.

In addition to the above, this re-release of the critically acclaimed parkour-infused zombie romp also features the expansion pack, The Following. The DLC can also be purchased separately for $19.99.

Dying Light hit PS4, PC, and Xbox One in early 2015, and went on to sell over five million copies worldwide. While a sequel has yet to be made official, Techland has suggested that it may be too ambitious for current-generation formats.
