Bandai Namco has set a fall 2016 launch window in North America and Europe and an October 27 release date for Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization. The next game based on the popular Japanese light novel series and anime adaptation is in-development for PlayStation 4 and Vita.
Following the same separate canonical world as Hollow Fragment and Lost Song, Hollow Realization is set in an original game world named Sword Art: Origin, which bears resemblance to the original Sword Art Online world.
Gameplay-wise, the new entry adds the ability to jump, removes auto-attack, increases the number of party members you can bring with to three, and introduces the Skill Allied system, where your entire party can deals large amounts of damage if pulled off successfully. Many familiar faces will return along with a brand-new exclusive character named Premiere, a 14-year-old girl NPC. Philia and Strea will be playable as well.
