If all goes according to plan, BioShock 2 will release on all platforms simultaneously.
"We’re aiming for simultaneous release on all platforms (Xbox 360, PS3 and PC)," a 2K Games representative told CVG.
The spokesperson also promised details on BioShock 2’s multiplayer functionality "soon enough," but failed to provide any exact information. Still, the idea of multiplayer BioShock in and of itself is quite enticing.
BioShock 2 is expected to release in late 2009 on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
