2K Sports today revealed that NBA 2K12 will feature an all-new game mode aptly named “NBA’s Greatest.” The new mode will allow players to relive the great rivalries of profession basketball, including 15 historic NBA teams and their respective legendary players, featuring Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, and more.
“The NBA 2K franchise has become an essential part of the NBA culture, and our fans can now take control of legendary teams and athletes from the NBA’s rich history,” said Jason Argent, vice president of marketing for 2K Sports. “With ‘NBA’s Greatest’ mode, NBA 2K12 will allow fans to prove once and for all who are the greatest basketball icons of all time.”
NBA 2K12 will be released on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, PSP, Xbox 360, PC, Wii, and maybe even the Game Gear on October 4.
