Uncharted 4 attracts yet more strong praise from Microsoft bigwigs

Speaking during the latest Major Nelson podcast, Microsoft’s head of digital storytelling for Xbox, Jeff Rubenstein, extended a hearty congratulations to Naughty Dog for its work on the critically acclaimed Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.

I did start playing Uncharted 4. This is actually the first Uncharted game that I wasn’t on the team for,” he continued, referencing his previous days as a member of the Uncharted development team. “It’s a great game, and it’s a great team. You know, Naughty Dog always deliver high quality, so congratulations to them.

Elsewhere, Microsoft’s Aaron Greenberg was quick to post a snapshot of his copy of the PlayStation 4-exclusive action-adventure title on Twitter, which he’s looking forward to trying out.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is available now for PS4. The game takes place three years after the events of its predecessor, and sees Nate reunited with his long-lost brother, Sam, as the pair set off on a globetrotting journey for pirate Henry Avery’s treasure stash.

Naughty Dog’s final Uncharted adventure is the most ambitious yet, featuring large-scale environments to explore via driveable vehicles, plus enhanced melee and stealth mechanics that add a new dimension to the series’ combat.
