Activision announced at its Call of Duty XP 2016 convention keynote that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will include all sixteen multiplayer maps from the original game by the end of the year.
When the remake launches alongside Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, only the previously confirmed ten maps will be available. The other six will be added sometime in December for free.
The reaction at the keynote conference was certainly positive:

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will be available on November 4, 2016 exclusively with the Legacy, Legacy Pro, and Digital Deluxe editions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
