At the PlayStation Experience 2016 press conference, a new trailer for Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, a sequel to developer Level 5’s cel-shaded RPG for PlayStation 3 and also on Nintendo DS in Japan.
In the video, we see the absolutely beautiful cel-shaded style in motion once again but also are treated to bits of gameplay, including the battle system.
Slated for a 2017 release, Ni no Kuni II was announced a year ago at PSX 2015 and sees the return of Studio Ghibli’s Yoshiyuki Momose on character designs and frequent composer of Ghibli films, Joe Hisaishi, on music.
