DICE has confirmed details on the next slice of Battlefield 1 DLC, titled They Shall Not Pass.

The critically acclaimed first-person shooter will receive this latest content drop at some point in March, though an exact release date has yet to be confirmed. However, at least we can now get a solid idea of what to expect from They Shall Not Pass, which looks set to include a host of new maps, weapons, and more.

Battlefield DLC news – all you need to know about They Shall Not Pass

First up, the new Battlefield DLC includes four extra maps, namely Verdun Heights, Fort Vaux, Soissons, and Rupture. There’s also new Elite Class in the shape of the Trench Raider, a melee-focused character who is equipped with a huge load out of grenades. Meanwhile, the Char 2C Super Heavy Tank is the latest Behemoth to join Battlefield 1, with a new vehicle also up for grabs in the shape of the St. Chamond Tank.

Finally, there’s a fresh stationary weapon in the form of Siege Howitzer, which replace the field guns on the new game maps, and the new game mode Frontlines. This is comprised of a mixture of Conquest and Rush game does, where two teams engage in a ‘tug of war’ over objectives.

Battlefield 1 was released for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One back in October. Despite the game’s success, DICE has said that the series is unlikely to return for a few years yet.
