Final Fantasy 15 Chapter 13 update and Booster Pack DLC details

A Final Fantasy 15 Chapter 13 update that is set to add new cutscenes and add additional powers for Noctis will be available to download on March 28, alongside the Episode Gladiolus DLC pack.

According to Square Enix, the DLC features:

“An original episode that unfolds from the perspective of Gladio, who was not playable in the main story of Final Fantasy XV. Enjoy fresh controls with Gladio-like action different from Noctis. Additionally, Final Fantasy series familiar character Gilgamesh will also appear.”

Also, the Booster Pack DLC will release on February 21, and will be free to download.

Season Pass holders will be able to get their hands exclusively on the Booster Pack+, which includes:

  • Booster Sword (weapon)
  • Dragonmod (fishing rod)
  • Aviol (reel)

Final Fantasy 15 was released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One back in November, and has shipped six million copies worldwide as of January 2017. In the U.K., the JRPG recorded the second biggest opening for the series to date, behind Final Fantasy XIII. The game had an arduous development cycle, having originally been in development for PS3 as Final Fantasy Versus 13 before being revamped for current-generation machines when the project was around 25 percent complete
