Street Fighter V fans are bracing themselves for the upcoming reveal of the next new playable character for Season 2, who will be released later this month.
The first six DLC characters added to the roster during Season 1 were: Alex, Guile, Balrog, Ibuku, Juri and Urien. The next new Street Fighter 5 character will be revealed during the Lupe Fiasco’s DROGAS Light album party in San Francisco, according to Capcom’s blog.
A Facebook post on the official Street Fighter page shows a teaser of the new character. The hat looks very much like it’s the one worn by Helen. Furthermore, rumors suggest she’ll have ice powers, rekka attacks and can freeze the ground with her V-trigger move. Sounds pretty much official to us…
The San Fran event takes place on February 15 and features some of the best Street Fighter V players locked in battle, as well as a challenge between Lupe Fiasco and Daigo “The Beast” Umehara.
The Street Fighter V event is being held at the Folsom Street Foundry in San Francisco and is free to those who just turn up, though It will also be streamed live on the Capcom Fighter’s Twitch channel.
Capcom recently stated its plans to support Street Fighter 5 right up until the year 2020 with plans to add new content and develop the game even further over the next few years.
