Sony has released the latest batch of PlayStation Plus March free games for subscribers to download via the PlayStation Store.
The PS Plus March lineup includes a number of popular titles, with Tearaway Unfolded leading the pack. Other games on offer include Disc Jam, Lumo, Under Night In-Birth Exe: Late, Earth Defense Force 2025, and Severed. See here for last month’s offerings.
Sony recently confirmed that it is taxing PSN purchases going forward, with a number of new states across the U.S. now part of the tax umbrella.
PlayStation Plus was launched in summer 2010 as a means of offering members premium content in addition to the then-free online gaming aspect of Sony’s flagship online service. However, beginning with the launch of PS4, gamers are required to sign-up for PS Plus to take part in multiplayer gaming, although the rewards, such as free games, are more than worth the asking price.
Microsoft’s Xbox LIVE service has always required gamers to pay for online gaming, although it wasn’t until the launch of PS Plus that the company started offering its users free games with the monthly Xbox LIVE Games with Gold feature.
