The upcoming Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy is a PS4-exclusive release, according to new marketing efforts for the game straight out of PlayStation U.K. (via NeoGAF).
This latest development comes following numerous claims regarding the game’s exclusivity status for Sony’s flagship console. Previously, PlayStation Ireland said the collection would be released for PS4 and PS4 Pro first, suggesting the title would eventually make its way to other platforms too. However, the following month, GameStop coughed up some ads seemingly confirming the N.Sane Trilogy would only be available for PS4.
While PlayStation U.K.’s exclusive branding in the ad below apparently puts any doubts to bed, it’s worth remembering that PlayStation Ireland initially claimed the game would be a PS4-exclusive before retracting the statement. Hopefully Sony will clear everything up soon enough, but for now, check out the latest ad below for the Crash Bandicoot trilogy.
Sony recently confirmed a Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy release date of June 30, 2017. The nostalgia-filled collection features remasters of three classic PSOne titles, namely Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, and Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped. While Naughty Dog was the developer behind the original games, this pack is being handled by Vicarious Visions, who are tarting up all three titles in high-definition plus various other enhancements.
