The Outlast 2 launch trailer signals the release of Red Barrel’s PS4 horror sequel next week, and it’s scary as hell!
Also due for release on Xbox One and PC, Outlast 2 follows the story of journalist Blake Langermann as he investigates the murder of a pregnant woman.
What makes Outlast 2 scarier than most is that the main protagonist can only fight off his attackers during scripted scenes, and instead has to use his wits and run, climb and hide from the horrors that await.
The investigation has lead you miles into the Arizona desert, to a darkness so deep that no one could shed light upon it, and a corruption so profound that going mad may be the only sane thing to do.

Red Barrel’s recently announced the Outlast Trinity Bundle, which includes the first game and its expansion, Outlast Whistleblower, and Outlast 2.
The Outlast 2 release date is set for April 25, 2017 and coincides with the release of these upcoming PS4 games.
