[UPDATE] Mass Effect Producer, Michael Gamble, has confirmed that he has never heard of a company called Sinclair Networks, so we can be safe to say that this is a hoax.
Never heard of Sinclair Networks. Ever.

In an unconfirmed if genuine Facebook post by a company claiming to work on Mass Effect Andromeda DLC, it suggests that Electronic Arts may have given up on its latest sci-fi RPG.
According to the rumor, from a company that is apparently outsourced to help game developers with patches, the plug has been pulled.
In a post on the Facebook page of Sinclair Networks (reportedly working on three DLC packs for ME: Andromeda), they write:
“This news saddens us, but it was made official after a meeting this week that there will be no Story DLC for Mass Effect Andromeda from us. Due to issues in initial production, staff allocation, heavy critique, significant delays in other projects and reductions in Montreal, it was decided to shelve the franchise for the time being and all our resources and outsourcing are being focused to the 2018 release of Anthem. For the moment the Mass Effect series will be on ice until Bioware can decide which direction the franchise will go.
The only content that will be produced will be the recurring APEX missions as well as patches as and when we are needed.”
The post was made in in the early hours of the morning has swiftly been deleted, but not before a screenshot was grabbed and additional comments were posted taking a dig at EA.
The post, if actually from a real company, sounds like they’re quite bitter about what’s happened with Mass Effect Andromeda, and the comments they make after the post in reply definitely confirm that.
"We would like people to know as BW will not state that DLC has been ceased and will just ignore questions about it and keep on with the simplified Apex template releases. We are outsourced through them and they will not announce it themselves."
It does seem strange that Sinclair Networks, who has apparently also worked with Ubisoft and Rockstar, has made this statement rather than Electronic Arts or Bioware, but whatever the case it looks like they’re not happy with how development went at all.
Indeed, Sinclair Networks- if real – say they were working on 3 DLC packs, so no wonder they’re venting their frustration.
In another comment on Facebook, they wrote: “Our contract was for DLC creation since the studio was downsizing. We had created 3 DLC packs of which one would have been ready for August. The meeting we had was decided to hold off and focus to APEX and cancel the DLC. If Bioware want to create their own DLC, then you will be waiting for quite a while as the content we made was erased as per contractual obligation on our side for copyright.” At one point they also called EA ‘big-wigs".
Mass Effect Andromeda wasn’t critically well-received by many, but fans of the series will be down-heartened to discover that it appears that EA may have abandoned it in order to concentrate on their next big I.P. Anthem.
The plot thickens!
Note: We’ve never heard of Sinclair Networks, who are apparently based in Austria. Their Facebook page has numerous posts about videogames, though their comments on – not just this post but others – seem wholly unprofessional and unbusinesslike. This is currently a rumor, while we await official confirmation from EA and Bioware about Mass Effect Andromeda DLC.
