Bandai Namco Games has announced that a new batch of Tekken 7 DLC will see Fatal Fury’s Geese Howard join the roster this winter.

The publisher confirmed the news over the weekend during the final stages of fighting game tournament, EVO. Howard will follow this summer’s Ultimate Tekken Bowl mode, and can be seen in action in the trailer below.

Geese Howard will be the second guest character introduced in Tekken 7, with Street Fighter’s Akuma already available from the outset. The third batch of DLC will arrive in 2018, presumably with yet another new character added to the roster. Of course, there’s a few classic Tekken fighters who are conspicuously absent from the current lineup, such as Lei Wulong and Anna Williams, so fans are still hoping they will be added at some point down the line.

Tekken 7 was released on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on June 2, 2017. The game’s storyline focuses on the conclusion to the long-running Mishima family feud, which sees Kazuya and Heihachi squaring off in one final epic dust up. Tekken 7’s roster eschews a number of classic fighters in favor of brand new combatants, including Shaheen, Lucky Chloe, Katarina, Claudio, and Gigas, although fan favorites such as Paul, Nina, Marshall Law, Lars, and Jin still remain.

The biggest changes that the game brings however is the new Rage system. As with previous games, Rage activates when your health falls to around 25 percent, giving your character more attack power. However, you can now execute special maneuvers at the expense of your Rage bar, such as Rage Arts and Rage Drive, which can quickly turn the tide of battle. In addition, the new Power Crush move allows you to continue attacking your opponent even if you are hit in the process by absorbing damage.
