Call of Duty WW2 will feature a loot drop system that sees crates dropping from the skies and their contents automatically popping out right in front of you.

Gamers have already got their hands on early copies of the Sledgehammer Games-developed first-person shooter, providing video confirmation of the loot system.
The drops are activated in Call of Duty WW2’s 48-player social space, which is set on the Normandy beaches inspired by the D-Day landings.
Players simply find a spot where a loot drop is possible, press a button, and the crate will open up and reveal its contents to you.
Reports claim that while other players cannot steal your loot box goodies, they can see what you receive from a drop.
Call of Duty WW2 is scheduled for release worldwide on November 3, 2017 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. The game is the first entry in the multi-million selling shooter franchise to be set during the Second World War in almost a decade.
The game’s campaign takes place throughout various battles across Europe, including D-Day, and focuses on the exploits of the U.S. 1st Infantry Division.
Early details on the game have been leaking throughout the week, including the full launch map count for War Mode. In addition, those of you who are buying the physical copy of WW2 will need to install a 9GB patch to play the single-player campaign.
Sony confirmed during its Paris Games Week press conference that the game’s first DLC, The Resistance, will hit PS4 first in early 2018.
While Call of Duty WW2 hasn’t even stores yet, rumors have already starting circulating on next year’s entry. According to these reports, the new Call of Duty will return to modern battlefields and may be a sequel to Call of Duty Black Ops 3.
