A million Assassins, Haze delayed to Q4

Announcing its financial results for the first half of the fiscal year, it appears Ubisoft employees have been living the high life, with company sales increasing 52% worldwide.

"Ubisoft’s excellent sales performance during the first half of fiscal 2007-08 has considerably boosted our earnings figures for the period," said Yves Guillemot, Ubisoft CEO.

"In addition, the early indications for our Christmas game launches have been positive, especially for Assassin’s Creed, whose sell-through sales have already topped the record level of one million units."

However, there was one stain on Ubisoft’s road to industry domination – PS3 shooter Haze will miss the holidays. It’s now set for a Q4 release in the 2007 fiscal calender. Don’t worry junkies; you’ll get your fix of nectar before March 31, 2008.
