Ace Combat Infinity PS3 beta takes flight next week

Namco Bandai has confirmed that the beta for PlayStation 3-exclusive flight combat game Ace Combat Infinity will kick off on February 4.

The beta will be up for grabs via the PlayStation Store, and will run until February 11.

"The Open Beta is completely free," said Namco, "so this will be the perfect chance to discover the gigantic content the game has to offer and to improve pilot skills before the game launch!”

Ace Combat Infinity is a free-to-play dogfighter developed by Project Aces, and takes place in the year 2019, 20 years after meteors collided with earth resulting in a loss of 20 per cent of the population.

War soon breaks out between the United Nations Forces and an unknown second organization, with players controlling Bone Arrow 4, a member of an elite squadron tasked with leading the UFN’s air operations.
