Namco Bandai announced today a new flight-action game for the PlayStation Portable. Ace Combat: Joint Assault will let you pilot more than 40 fully licensed aircrafts in latest game in the Ace Combat series. The game will feature fast-paced dogfights, fantastic new visuals, real-world locations, and multiplayer options.
The game is being developed by Project Aces, and features locations like Tokyo, San Francisco, and London. The enemy A.I. is said to be very dynamic, changing based on your decisions made in the campaign.
Four players can join forces in the campaign mode, featuring the Joint Assault Mission System. You can break off into two teams and simultaneously complete objectives on two separate maps. Completed objectives will have an impact on the entire game. The game also features intense eight-player competitive matches.
The game is slated for a summer release in Asia, followed by a release elsewhere sometime this year.
