Action-RPG Sword Art Online: Last Recollection is launching in 2023 for PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One, Bandia Namco has announced.
The game is based on the War of Underworld anime arc for Sword Art Online, and follows hero Kirito and his buddies as they look to unmask the Dark Knight and discover if Kirito and crew will survive against the Dark Territory’s invading forces. The game is billed as something of a Sword Art Online 10th anniversary release, allowing fans to reminisce about the franchise.

Sword Art Online: Last Recollection offers a brand new adventure for players to enjoy while also giving them a chance to reacquaint themselves with characters from past Sword Art Online anime.
This time around, the original narrative delves into the ‘what if’s scenario had Kirito, Eugeo and their loyal companions didn’t meet a tragic demise during the events of the War of the Underworld.
