Activision expects $1.1 billion in sales revenues

Today Activision-Blizzard increased its quarterly sales outlook for March, now expecting an estimated $1.1 billion in revenues.

Company CEO, Bobby Kotick, attributed much of this success to the company’s bestselling titles: World of Warcraft, and the 20-million unit selling, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

Kotick also made note of the "record breaking launch of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 map pack," supposedly expected to launch during the June quarter.

Kotick continued, "It is always helpful to begin a year with great momentum; however, we remain cautious about the economy and consumer spending and the fact that the majority of our games are not expected to launch until the fall."
