Alan Wake 2 To Add Assist Mode Alongside The Lake House DLC For Infinite Ammo, One-Shot Kill

Alan Wake 2 Game Director Kyle Rowley has revealed that the critically acclaimed survival horror title will add an Assist Mode alongside the game’s Lake House DLC next week.

Rowley took to X to reveal the news, where he also confirmed that the game will receive some ‘gameplay tweaks and fixes.’

Some additional goodies coming for the one year anniversary of Alan Wake 2: – Classic Wake outfit for Deluxe edition owners. -Assist mode (infinite ammo, immortality, infinite flashlight, one shot kill etc) Some other gameplay tweaks and fixes. Enjoy!

Alan Wake 2 is celebrating its one-year anniversary this month, which sees the launch of its latest expansion, The Lake House, on October 22. The game is also receiving its long-awaited physical release too, as it was only available as a digital download at launch.

Originally released on October 27, 2023, Alan Wake is the follow-up to the original 2010 cult horror title from Remedy, which sees the titular character still trapped in the Dark Place as he attempts to escape.
