Alien Breed 35th Anniversary Collection is coming to PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X/S in September 2026, Commodore and Antstream have announced, bringing six retro titles together in one bundle.
The classic isometric science-fiction horror franchise returns for modern platforms with the complete library of games, bundle with extras and more from the first area of the series. The Vault allows players to dive into the concept and origin retailer launches for Alien Breed, with developer interviews and retrospective videos accessed via The Timeline, offering fighter insight from the original team. Meanwhile, the original titles are more accessible thanks to the upgraded hardware interface, without compromising the soul of the classic gameplay.
Alien Breed 35th Anniversary Collection offers precisions controls as standard, with full twin-stick support for both 2D and 3D series entries, while mouse and keyboard support is also available for the 3D games. In addition, the frame rate has been spruced up to offer a fluid first-person gameplay experience, while it’s now easy to continue different runs and thanks to Tactical Save States.
Developer Antstream also confirms that users will be able to jump between a 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios, while the CRT Experience capture that authentic 90s glow complete with professional-grade Scanliens, CRT TV, and Mega CRT filters. Finally, there’s support for couch cooperative modes and the inclusion of a new Rush Mode and Horde Mode.
