Aliens: Colonial Marines will be unleashed on PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360 in spring 2012, SEGA announced today.
The eagerly-anticipated sci-fi shooter has been in the works for some time now, and sees gamers scrapping it out with the fearsome Xenomorphs following the discovery of the alien-infested wreckage of the U.S.S Sulaco. Cue action-packed battles, claustrophobic environments and a healthy dose of scares.
Gearbox bigwig Randy Pitchford commented, “To Gearbox Software and its peers throughout the industry, Aliens is one of the most influential science fiction properties of all time.”
