Naked Rain has released a new gameplay trailer for open-world RPG ANANTA, which was previously known under the codename of Project Mugen.

ANANTA combines equal measures of humour, adventure, and mystery, and takes place in Nova City, which has been plunged into chaos. Players control an elite Agent of the Anti-Chaos Directorate (A.C.D.) as they set off on a high-octane adventure across a world that doesn’t so much as bend the rules, but breaks them altogether. From paranormal phenomena to racing toilets in the streets, Nova City definitely has its quirks.

Boasting combat that is is described as ‘thrilling as a kung fu movie,’ ANANTA has players using everything at their disposal against their foe while attempting to create a balance between chaos and order. Nova City itself is thriving with freedom, with players able to explore the bustling urban setting and its interconnected cities. You’ll party at the Sonic Boom Club, hit up the GalleryEve Art Museum, and make new friends as you take on weekend explorations.
ANANTA is due out on PS5 and PC.
