Anime fighter Nitroplus Blasterz heading to Europe in early 2016

Japanese publisher Marvelous announced today the fighting game Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel will launch in Europe on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 for £29.99 in early 2016, the same timeframe as the North American release.

Developed by Arcana Heart studio EXAMU, Nitroplus Blasterz is a 2D fighter featuring characters from Nitroplus’s catalog of visual novels, many of which have been adapted to anime. The roster includes faces from Fate/stay night, Psycho-Pass, School-Live! and more. A total of 12 characters are playable, including Nitroplus mascot Super Sonico, with 2 more available via DLC.

There are 20 support ‘partner’ characters that you will choose 2 from. With the ’Partner Blitz’ special attack, up to 6 characters can appear on screen at one time if both players activate it.

Nitroplus Blasterz will support cross-platform play between the PS4 and PS3, allowing for a large pool of opponents to face online.

Hardcore fans can pick up the limited special edition of the game, which includes a Super Sonico T-shirt, for £10 more, exclusively from the Marvelous Europe store and Amazon.
