Apache: Air Assault coming this November

Activision has confirmed that Apache: Air Assault will be hitting store shelves on November 9.

The game’s being developed by the folks at Gaijin Entertainment, who also worked on the rather splendid WWII flight combat sim IL-2 Sturmovik Birds of Prey. Air Assault marks the developer’s first “helicopter combat simulator.”

Players can look forward to taking part in both air-to-air and air-to-ground antics, with locations ranging “from the jungles of Central America to the mountains of Central Asia”.

As well as flying solo, you’ll also be able to bring a mate along for the ride as co-pilot in over 16 multi-stage missions featuring real-world satellite photography.

Apache: Air Assault is due out on PS3, PC and Xbox 360 platforms.
