ARK: Survival Ascended, the highly-anticipated remake of the original ARK, ahead of the coming sequel is out now on PC, and won’t be out on PS5 and other current-gen consoles until next month.
This is after it had already been delayed earlier in the year, though it was still believed it would arrive on consoles alongside the PC release. Now however developer Studio Wildcard says that console players can expect it this November.
No specific date in November has been provided, though no specific date was given for October the last time it was delayed. It’s PC release is an Early Access launch, which has yet to go live, so it’ll be interesting to see what the console launch is.
That is, whether or not it’ll remain in early access with the console launch, and if it’ll again be delayed to provide even more time in early access on PC, before the console launch coming with the game’s proper 1.0 launch.
A new launch trailer was featured today during the Xbox Partner Showcase, and while it’s disappointing that console fans need to wait, this trailer surely makes it feel like the wait will be worth it.
