With a little over one week to until the retail launch of Ark: Survival Evolved and the Ragnorak DLC, Studio Wildcard have delayed both.
The full release of ARK and Ragnarok will now be August 29, rather than its original date of August 8.
“This extended time will allow further development of the map and you guys can expect a gigantic update, even bigger than we initially thought,” said the developer.
Between now and the full release, Wildcard says it will continue to launch patches for technical fixes, and now also plans to make the late-August update even bigger than planned.
The most recent Ark Survival Evolved update v510 tweaked some of the control settings, but its the Ragnarok release that players are really looking forward to.
The Ragnarok update will be a free DLC expansion that brings in a 144sq kilometre map alongside an active volcano, new creatures and brand-new species.
