Aspyr Says Tomb Raider IV — VI Remastered Happened As ‘It Just DIdn’t Feel Right’ To Remaster 4 Without The Others

Jordan Reese, Product Manager at Aspyr, has revealed during an interview with VG247 that the reason Tomb Raider IV — VI Remastered is happening is due to the fact it didn’t feel right just to revamp Tomb Raider IV: The Last Revelation and leave the others out in the cold.

Touching on the extremely positive reception to last year’s Tomb Raider I — III Remastered, Reese described it as “a powerful reminder of how much these games really mean to this passionate community,” pushing the team “to tell a complete narrative.” And, while he acknowledged that Tomb Raider Chronicles and Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness aren’t quite as beloved as the other games, “It just didn’t feel right coming from Tomb Raider I-III Remastered to only do IV.”
