Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood uncovered

The next Assassin’s Creed game will be called Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, Ubisoft confirmed today. We already knew the game was coming our way, but what we didn’t know was the official name, or some more dirt on what exactly Ezio will be doing in this sequel.

According to placeholder art leaked to Kotaku, and later confirmed by Ubisoft, the game will allow you to “lead your own brotherhood of assassins, as Ezio, and conquer Rome.” It appears the game will pick up as Ezio, now a legendary master assassin, fights against the Templar order. You’ll “lead your own brotherhood of Assassins and strike at the heart of the enemy. Rome.”

The game will also feature innovative multiplayer, allowing you to “embody an assassin of your choosing and define their killing style.”

The game is heading to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC, and there will be exclusive multiplayer characters for those who pre-order from GameStop. We expect to hear more on the game in the coming week, and we should get our hands on it sometime this fall.
