Ubisoft has officially announced Assassin’s Creed III for an October 30, 2012 release.
The news dropped during an on-going conference call, where Ubisoft chief Yves Guillemot confirmed that the stabby sequel has been in development for the past three years.
"We will push the title a lot because it’s a fantastic product that the team has been working for three years," he commented. "What we have seen is just fabulous."
No further details were revealed on the game, though rumors have pointed to an American Revolution setting among others for the follow-up.
Assassin’s Creed III will be released for PlayStation 3, PC, Xbox 360 and Wii U.
