Netflix’s live-action series based on Assassin’s Creed will star Euphoria’s Toby Wallace, according to a report on Deadline.
Based on Ubisoft’s hugely successful video game franchise, Assassin’s Creed focuses on the shadowy war between the Assassin’s Brotherhood aan the Templar Order, with Wallace set to play the co-lead in the series. The characters in Netflix’s series are said to be different to those from the video games while still retaining the historical setting.

The Assassin’s Creed series is set to begin production in Italy next year, which is also set to be the setting of the show, although the exact time period remains unknown. It’s worth remembering that Italy was the main backdrop for Assassin’s Creed II and Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, featuring the fan-favourite Ezio Auditore da Firenze.
