Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed Mirage is receiving free DLC later this year, some two years after the game originally came out.
The free DLC will include a new story chapter and missions set in the ancient Arabian city, alongside various gameplay improvements for the base game and the new setting. No further details were revealed yet, but it’s set to arrive at some point later this year, so we should hear something soon.

Earlier this year it was reported that Assassin’s Creed Mirage would be getting DLC courtesy of Savvy Games, which are funded by the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund. It isn’t known at this point if the newly-confirmed DLC is indeed being produced by that studio. Either way, the decision to release DLC may come as a surprise, as Ubisoft previously commented that it wouldn’t be releasing any extra content for the game.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage was released in October 2023 for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. The game takes place before the events of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and follows Basim as he transitions from a life as a street thief to becoming a full-fledged assassin.
