It seems we can’t go one week without yet another rumour about the Assassin’s Creed Mirage release date, but here we go again.
This time, a bunch of Japanese retailers have the game listed as October 12, 2023, but there’s as little more credence to this that the other rumours. Why? Because Japanese retailers don’t tend to use placeholders and only list a game’s release date if it’s the real deal. Still, make of it what you will for now.
As mentioned, there’s been a lot of rumours regarding the game’s release date. One of the most prominent leaks came from Tom Henderson, who has been claiming for a while now that Assassin’s Creed Mirage is due out in August 2023. This was again reiterated only earlier this month by way of a GameStop listing.
However, earlier this month it was reported the game has been delayed and will launch by the end of March next year, with October being touted as a possible window.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage is in development for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One, and is believed to be the final entry in the series that will be developed for last-generation platforms.
