One of the fun things you can do in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is taming wild animals. Not only can you enjoy a pet wolf like your cute dog, but you can also use tamed animals to your advantage. So, here’s our Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Taming Animals guide.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Taming Animals
There are tons of battles you’ll face in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. You’ll be fighting many enemies and animals in the wild. The good news is, you can tame these wild beasts and take them as your pet at home. However, you cannot tame all animals you find in AC Odyssey – you can only tame wild animals and not the domesticated ones like a dog or a stray cat.
Animals will not automatically be loyal to you. You need to invest some points to get the Beast Master skill available at the Hunter Ability Tree. Once you’ve got the skill unlocked and acquire it, you can now proceed to hunting down your next wild pet.
How to Tame Animals Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
This is how you can make wild animals tame. So first, go into the wild and hunt for a wolf. The wolf sees you as his next meal and will attack you. At this point, you need to show him who’s the boss. So what you need to do is to knock him out. Don’t kill the wolf, just use the paralyzing arrows to make the wolf fall asleep.
Once the wolf is down, just approach it and press tame animal button. And there, the wolf is yours. Your new pet will follow you around and you can touch his head to pet him.
So what’s the use of having a tamed animal? The pet accompanies you anywhere and can fight with and for you. However, a wolf can easily be taken down after few hits. So if you want a stronger animal, you can un-tame it and replace it with a bigger and better one like the mighty bear. But of course, they would be more difficult to knock down.
And that’s our Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Taming Animals guide for you animal lovers!
