The long-rumored 2014 PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 entry in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, subtitled Rogue, has been leaked ahead of the game’s official reveal by Ubisoft.
According to an image of the game’s box art taken (obtained by Access the Animus), Assassin’s Creed Rogue – previously known as Assassin’s Creed Comet – will hit Sony and Microsoft’s aging machines on November 11.
From the look of things, the throat-slitting adventure game will take a leaf out of last year’s Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag, as images taken from the trailer show a new swashbuckling hero and his ship in the Arctic.
Previous reports on Rogue suggest ship battles will return in combination with land-based gameplay, the former of which has been completely removed from Assassin’s Creed Unity on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Ubisoft hasn’t officially announced Rogue at present, but expect something to drop soon. Stay tuned to PSU for more details.
