We all remember that over the top Metal Gear Solid 4 video on April Fool’s day featuring Altair on the battlefield, don’t we? If not, click here to refresh your mind. For those of you who do remember this beautifully rendered joke, forget what you thought you knew. Assassin’s Solid is no longer just another joke for the fools of April as Konami has announced today, at the MGS4 Completion Ceremony, that Altair’s costume will be an option of clothing for our beloved Snake.
This is just one collaboration of many that you can expect to see in the upcoming Metal Gear Solid title. We’re not quite sure if this option will have the possibility of being toggled on/off for the die-hard fans out there who don’t care, but it’ll still be fun to fool around with to say the least. Does this mean we can possibly expect a Snake outfit to appear in the sequel to Assassin’s Creed? Nothing has been announced or leaked as of yet, but we’d imagine it is a possibility.
One thing we do know — Metal Gear Solid 4 is complete. Now it’s just a waiting game for gamers around the world to suffer through.
