According to Eurogamer, Atari has revealed that the PlayStation 3 version of its survival horror title, Alone in the Dark, will be released in November 2008.
The game was previously released on PlayStation 2, Wii PC and Xbox 360 last month, although developer Eden Games has admitted that various technical issues had hampered the PS3 version, ensuring a five-month delay.
Alone in the Dark pits gamers in the shoes of Edward Carnby as he investigates a series of supernatural disturbances in and around New York’s Central Park area. The game features an innovative, real-time inventory system, allowing gamers to construct an assortment of weapons and tools to overcome puzzles and enemy encounters.
