Atlas Fallen will allow PS5 players to select from a Performance Mode or Quality Mode, its creative director has said during a recent interview with Gaming Bolt.
Jan Klose revealed that the Performance Mode will target 1440p / 60 FPS, while the Quality Mode will run the game at 4K / 30 FPS. Furthermore, Atlas Fallen will also support dynamic resolution scaling, which helps “keep the frame rate up in data-intensive situations.”
Here’s the official blurb on Atlas Fallen for those who haven’t been keeping up:
Take on a heroic journey through a variety of breath-taking environments, swiftly gliding through the desert landscapes of a vast sand-covered world. Explore ancient ruins and unearth the mysteries and secrets of a fallen society. Fight a corrupt god and extraordinary beasts thanks to the divine power of your shape-shifting weapon. Unlock powerful skills and abilities to build a unique moveset and rise as the champion who will liberate the people of Atlas.
Atlas Fallen is scheduled for release on August 10, 2023 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
