Atomic Heart is developer Mundfish’s upcoming first-person shooter that seems to combine the intensity of something like Doom Eternal and the art direction of a combined Alice In Wonderland/steampunk world, set in a futuristic version of a Soviet World in the 1950’s.
If that sounds like a lot, it’s because it is, though all put together, trailers like its most recent gameplay overview show that it works when in motion. Now we have some more information as to how it’ll run on PS5, thanks to a new interview.
Game director Robert Bagratuni confirmed in an interview with Wcfftech that on current generation platforms, players can expect the game to run at a 4K resolution and at 60FPS.
“We worked a lot on optimization for consoles, providing one graphical mode with dynamic 4K/60FPS and even native 4K with a solid 60FPS in some parts of the game.
We’re also looking to continue to bring more performance enhancements in the future and will keep you posted when we do.”
Happy news for players who were looking forward to Atomic Heart.
