Augment your reality with Deus Ex: Human Revolution extras

If you find yourself insanely excited about Deus Ex: Human Revolution, there’s not that much you can do, you are going to have to wait like the rest of us. But, if you can’t contain your excitement and want to spend an extra 10 bucks, you may want to check out what Square Enix has to offer those who preorder, along with the Augmented Edition.

The Augmented Edition (available for $69.99 USD on PS3 and Xbox 360, and $59.99 USD for PC) comes with a 40-page art-book and a swanky box that contains: a motion comic, the game’s soundtrack, a DVD that contains trailers, storyboards, and a making-of video.

There is a pair of bonus packs to pick up, as well. If you preorder from a shop other than GameStop (retailer extras are unspecified at this time), you’ll get the Tactical Enhancement Pack. This contains the Huntsman Silverback Double-Barrel Shotgun, the Longsword Whisperhead Extreme Range Sniper rifle, and some extra in-game credits. Pre-ordering from GameStop will land you the Explosive Mission Pack, complete with a Linebacker G-87 multiple-shot grenade launcher, the M-28 Utility Remote-Detonated Explosive Device, an auto unlocking device, and an extra mission featuring the lead from the original Deus Ex.

The game is out early 2011.
