Sony has announced a new PS4 Media Remote that will allow owners to control the system’s Blu-Ray Disc player and entertainment apps via Bluetooth.

Of course, it comes stamped with PlayStation branding with the familiar triangle, circle, square and ‘X’ symbols and will be compatible with ‘most’ apps on PlayStation 4.
It’s a no bells and no whistles kind of remote, but it’s built to do the job, which is to make it easy for you to navigate the PS4 menu and access all the features on your system. It also comes with the Options, Share and PlayStation Home button that you find on the DualShock 4 controller.
The PS4 Media Remote looks like a much more basic version of the Official Universal Media Remote for PlayStation 4, which also lets you control additional devices.
