Batman: Return to Arkham is one of many games that are backwards compatible for PS5, but there’s a hidden performance boost for those who own the disc version and don’t update it. This will allow you to play Batman Arkham City at 60 FPS.
Unfortunately, Batman Arkham Asylum, which is the first entry in the Dark Knight’s critically acclaimed Rocksteady Studios trilogy, is capped to 30 FPS. Nonetheless, Batman Arkham City runs buttery-smooth at 60 FPS on PS5.

Batman: Return to Arkham was released for PS4 and Xbox One back in July 2016, and remasters Batman Arkham Asylum and Batman Arkham City, and in doing so, bumps both games up to the Unreal Engine 4 with new visuals and other enhancements.
