According to sources close to Eurogamer, the upcoming Batman: Return to Arkham has been delayed until November 2016 at the very earliest.
The bundle was originally due to ship on July 31 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, although was postponed at the eleventh hour to an undisclosed date.
Publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment indicated the project needed more time to meet the standards required of the remasters. However, it did not give any info in regards to when we can expect to see Return to Arkham on shelves.
Assuming it doesn’t meet the November release, we’ll have to wait until early 2017 to get our mitts on the bundle, Eurogamer adds.
Batman: Return to Arkham features high-definition remasters of the critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City for current-generation consoles. The pack also includes every slice of DLC released for both games to date.
The original games were developed by Rocksteady, who finished off the Arkham trilogy with 2015’s critical darling, Batman: Arkham Knight.
