Battlefield 1 gameplay video showcases action-packed single-player mission
Battlefield 1 is scheduled for release on October 21 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. The game takes place during the events of World War I, and arms players with a wealth of authentic WWI-era weaponry, including pistols, bolt-action rifles, shotguns, and more. The game also allows gamers to hop into the driving seat of a tank or take to the skies with machine gun-armed biplanes.
In addition to the action-packed single-player campaign, DICE’s first-person shooter also features a dedicated multiplayer mode, which features up to 64-players. At launch gamers will have access to nine maps and six modes: Conquest, Domination, Operations, Rush, Team Deathmatch, and War Pigeons.
Battlefield 1 is the first World War I-based videogame to be published by Electronic Arts since 1994’s Wings of Glory. Read our Battlefield 1 multiplayer impressions.
